The dark, narrow windows that punctuate the facade of Paul Rood Hall at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo appear randomly distributed. They also make the facade resemble an IBM punch card. Perhaps these windows are not randomly placed but encode a secret message.
Built in 1971, Rood Hall houses classrooms, laboratories, a geology museum, a computer center, and a particle accelerator facility.

I used to be an RA at WMU. We were told that the window pattern, if placed onto a punch card and fed into an old computer, would give the message "Welcome to WMU."
